New Dutch free daily goes live with GN3

The Dutch free daily newspaper DAG went live on May 8th with the latest version of Tera’s GN3 content management system (45 work-seats).

The paper, with an average daily circulation of 300 thousand copies will be distributed for free in The Netherlands through the public transportation and the Albert Heijn retail supermarket chain.

DAG is a full color 36 page paper owned by a joint venture of PcM Uitgevers, one of the largest Dutch publishing group and the telecom operator KPN

The flexibility of the GN3 content management system and its web publishing features won Tera the new title, consolidating the profitable technological partnership between the Italian software house and PcM Uitgevers signed in the end of year 2004. In the past two years PcM migrated four of its national titles to GN3 content management system: de Volkskrant (March 2005), the Trouw (June 2005) , NRC Handelsblad (December 2005) and now DAG.<

The Dutch group PcM employs over 3600 people and covers several markets of the publishing industry, from newspaper, to books.
