Paul Lampasona Joins Tera as Head of US Sales
Fort Lauderdale, Fla – Tera US has announced that Paul Lampasona has joined Tera US as head of the US sales force. Lampasona, 32, is a second-generation newspaper-industry software sales person with a newspaper-sales background that started when he was nineteen-years old.
Tera US is the wholly-owned subsidiary of Tera DP the makers of the well regarded GN3 editorial content management system and Tark, a premier digital asset archiving system. Tera products are used to publish more than 300 newspapers on five continents.
US customers include The Commercial Appeal in Memphis, all titles produced by Impremedia, the largest publisher of Spanish-language newspapers in the US, and the high-profile Houston Community Newspapers with more that 55 titles. Installations at Impremedia and Houston Community Newspapers are centrally hosted, a growing industry trend.
Lampasona began his career selling advertising for Suffolk Life, an eastern Long Island TMC weekly well known for its editorials. For the last ten years, Lampasona has been very successful selling newspaper systems in the US. Acquiring Lampasona is considered a coup by some in the industry.
Having held positions as Marketing Director, Business Development Manager and Account Executive, Lampasona is known for his innovative marketing ideas and his customer support during the sales cycle.

Lampasona holds a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, PA where he started the Japan semester abroad program.
He will be based in Chicago.
